The craziest thing I have ever found in a dryer!!
My business started from a side hustle picking up dryers on the side of the road and repairing them to sell on marketplace. This video is how to disassemble any Whirlpool dryer with the lint trap on top, they are all the same. Rollers, broken belts and blown thermal fuses are the leading repairs caused mainly by restricted ventilation, but there is plenty more to it than that

Brown flakes and wash plate removal the easy way!
Просмотров 7 тыс.8 месяцев назад
I used a jack from my trunk, a whirlpool suspension rod for the halo, and three more whirlpool rods for the legs on the jig. Three inch construction screws and washers to attach it to the plate. I cut the end of a flathead screwdriver off for the jack handle and an old ratchet strap to connect it to the halo

Hey I have a electric dryer and that part was not my problem. Lights is on door switch is intact the start button tested good, belt is intact. What could my problem be that my dryer won't start

When you give her some food. Put some water next to the bowl. They wash everything before they eat it. Don’t know why but they do. I gave mine some sugar cubes and watched it wash them and they dissolved. Funniest thing I’ve ever seen. It washed the sugar cubes and was surprised and looked up at me with a puzzled look on its face. 😮😮 good times.

Ever found a wedding ring in one of those dryers? I'm going to be looking in mine tomorrow for one that's been gone for 18 years. I'll report back.

Even if there was some kind of moral rule that said being in prison means you deserve no kindness or respect and you have no rights, there's just a simple psychological fact. When you treat people like animals they will begin to act like animals. Once you function at that level it's not easy to bounce back and sometimes you never do. There are people who go in for a couple of years of prison time and never get out because they sink so low Baker Middle kinds of felons while they're in there. If we don't want to House people for a lifetime or have them come out way more dangerous than they went in then it's a matter of simple practicality to treat them like human beings . But there is nothing moral in treating people worse than they treated their victims.

In my town every first Monday of the month you can discard heavy things and if you just Cruise the alleys you can pick up machines. All kinds appliances vacuum cleaners. That's free and a typical reconditioned washer and dryer like these basic Roper Maytag ones is $250. So if you are able to repair them with just a few parts then probably at least 200 of that is profit. And if not metal scrap sales are pretty lucrative here considering and people will pick up appliances just for the scrap which is also local so they can just tear it down take it to scrap and put the leftover pieces if they even have to do that part back by the dumpster the next first Monday.

But don't become a handyman straight out of prison of the kind of handyman or Lawn Care person who goes to people's houses or works on a construction site. It is way too tempting when you get that first paycheck and you have all those drug users around you also fresh out of prison to just go get high. And for some the temptation to go back to that same work side and steal something whether from the construction company or from a homeowner where they went in to do some repairs is just too high. That's not fair to yourself or the people that hired you. I care about giving people a second chance because very few people never need Second Chances in their lives theory that I have regretted it at least 60% of the time because I've gotten ripped off or even had my things damaged. I've learned the hard way and what these people did was really wrong. But I know for some of them the Temptation was huge as soon as they got their hands on some money they just gave up, gavin, and ripped us both off.

You're so cute. But so smart too. I wish I had a repair person who could fix my Appliance but let me watch and tell me the what in the way of it. The free education it's nice but the most satisfaction is being able to see what the problem is and see it fixed. It's kind of like pimple popping or cutting out a thorn medical field you get to see it fixed and that's very satisfying.

And speaking of washers I have a Maytag performa that is 22 years old and was going strong. Then I have the lid open and was letting it fill and forgot about it. I went into the basement the next morning and it was still filling. I read that it was the water level sensor that could be the problem. I was in the habit of leaving the lid open so that when it filled it wouldn't start agitating right away. For various reasons like adding detergent or making sure the load was balanced because it was getting more and more likely to become unbalanced. Maybe I had let too many loads get unbalanced or overloaded it too many times over the years or maybe it was time to change the belt again. But regardless whatever happened kept it from realizing it was full and it just kept on feeling. Turning it off and even unplugging it and plugging it back in didn't reset anything and I thought I could at least run the spin cycle to get the water out of the clothes so it could be repaired and it wouldn't spend either. So I'm reading it could be the motherboard or the water level sensor line being plugged or the water sensor itself. I don't know anything about those things. I bought a multimeter off of Amazon but frankly electricity scares me and I couldn't get the top off do it anyway. I removed all the screws I could find and still couldn't get it to lift up so there's something that needs to be done first that I can't see. It's incredibly annoying because it's a simple and effective machine and I know they can last a long long time. 22 years with only a couple of new belts and the matching gas dryers still going strong. I hate to scrap it when I think somebody could fix it but I'm sure they would charge me at least the cost of a replacement. And some of those people that say they will try to repair it but sell you a good replacement if they can or actually looking to get your machine because they know they can repair it easily and so they can sell you someone else's use machine refurbish yours and sell it. I would much rather have mine fixed. So if that problem is anywhere on your Channel with the same basic machines as you have here from 2002, maybe you can provide advice about that particular problem period including how to get the top open so you can take the back off. Sometimes RUclips repair videos shows stuff I could figure out but something that seems too simple to show is the problem I can't solve.😮😠

PS other people may not understand and so you will deal with prejudice and stigma. Being prepared for that and continuing to love and respect yourself anyway is the best revenge and what is most likely to keep you safe I know on a healthy path. By doing so you're educating the world but even if nobody gets it, respecting yourself is the key to everything including basic hope that things can be better. This man the living proof of that. He totally knows his worth it doesn't have to be arrogant or aggressive to show it.

Thank You, I preform like 99% of my own repairs on my household appliances and generally have no issues as my daytime job is Industrial Maintenance, But I had no idea that this filter was just an easy twist to remove and clean. I just twisted mine out to find that it was like 90% plugged up with lime scale which I was able to remove with an old toothbrush, Dawn dish soap and hot water. I have been using the Active Tabs for about 2 years now but the machine is like 5 or 6 years old and is a Kitchen Aid. Congratulations on not becoming an Ohio Statistic.

I found I could just pinch the corners of the plastic triangles and could get one of the sides up just enough to slide them out. Very low risk of damage that way. They make a $8 tool for them so I have heard.
